Way to go team! You all did an amazing job training, running, walking, and raising support as members of the Faith that Works Team for the 2015 GO! St. Louis weekend. We had 38 team members this year (our first year participating) and raised $9,085 for our local and global outreaches that will help us continue sharing the love of the gospel in practical ways. Most of our team walked or ran the 5K in Forest Park on Saturday, April 11. Under clear blue skies, we joined with thousands of children, youth, and adults who came out to participate in the event. A few of our team members participated in Sunday's events too: one of our Hispanic Outreach volunteers, Jeremy Krueger, completed the half marathon while two of our staff members, Courtney Taylor and Stacey McKnight, joined with Janene Nicpon and Katie Stipanovich to participate as a team in the marathon relay. Altogether, the Faith that Works Team logged a little over 120 miles over the two days of events! We also had dedicated Faith that Works volunteers join us to help at the events and cheer on the Faith that Works Team and other runners. The weekend was full of energy and encouragement, and we want to offer another thank you to all of our team members, supporters, and volunteers who made GO! St. Louis a success! We hope you'll join us again next year.
