Our newest staff member, Lauren Fasnacht, brings 10 years of nonprofit ministry experience and a passion for outreach to her role at Faith that Works. We're excited to have her join the team as our Executive Administrative Assistant and help us carry out our mission of equipping leaders to share the gospel through practical outreach. Lauren will especially focus on developing Nala so we can impact more women who have been affected by gender-based injustice. Lauren shares more about herself and her background: I'm originally from Atlanta, GA, and am the oldest of 6 children - 4 girls and 2 boys. My siblings are my best friends. I moved to St. Louis over 10 years ago to accept a position at Mercy Multiplied. Beginning as a receptionist, I moved into the Assistant to the Program Director, and later became the Assistant Program Director. I served in that position for several years then stepped into the Transitional Care position, where I worked with graduates after they left the program. I have served in youth ministry and mentoring teenagers. I am a die hard Georgia Bulldog football fan. In the fall you will find me watching marathon football games. I am also a huge Cardinals fan. I grew up an athlete in an athletic family, so teamwork is a very big part of how I operate. I strive to give my best in whatever I do and will also think in a team perspective to get the overall goal accomplished. I am athletic but also love being a girl! I love shopping and putting things together. I have styled several people including creating wardrobes for individuals, helping people of all ages and body types to look their best. I am very passionate about Christians being the best representative of Jesus. This includes the way we present ourselves. I want to change the world for Jesus, but I believe it is through relationships. It is not a get in and get out tent revival that builds relationships. I have been married to my husband, Gabe, for almost 8 years and live in Wildwood. We attend St. Louis Family Church.
